What is Little Wind Street Pop-Up?


‘Little Wind Street Pop-Up!’ is a venue resulting from a collaborative effort to provide a new al fresco dining experience while creating unique opportunities for small, independent, local businesses to showcase their exquisite street food style menus in a covid-safe space.

Little Wind Street has been transformed into Swansea’s largest outdoor dining venue. With menus from our two in-house resident street food vendors and a host of Swansea’s best outdoor catering trucks, there’s something for everyone, plus a fully stocked bar and an environment you’ll want to come back to again and again.




I’m sold. Where are you?


Little Wind Street is part of the City Gates at the end of Wind Street, Swansea. Our entrance is below the ‘LITTLE WIND STREET’ sign and the one way system means, once you’ve finished dining with us, you’ll exit via York Street.




Are you a big national company masquerading as lots of small traders?


Our vendors are local, independent businesses who want to serve you a set of flavours you’ll love, in a never seen before al fresco street food experience. We’re run by two local businessmen, born and bred in Swansea.




How do I order my food and drink?


At the moment we’re a seated-only venue, offering the very safest measures to ensure your visit is comfortable and national guideline compliant. When you arrive you’ll be greeted by a friendly steward who’ll show you to your seat, from there you’ll receive waited service for the duration of your time with us. No queues, no risk, no hassle – just enjoy being out with family or friends.




What if I need to use the toilet?


Our licensed premises has a toilet with a one-way system to keep you and others as safe as possible. As these are indoors you’ll need to pop on a mask, as per the current national guidelines.




Will there be entertainment?


ational guidelines don’t allow for live entertainment at the moment, but we’re permitted to play background music. As such, our playlist is ready to go and there’s something for every taste.




What are your opening hours?


We open the doors at 3pm daily and close at 11pm 7 days per week. Please note that our resident food traders operate throughout the week and outdoor pitches operate on weekends only.




How will you ensure everyone enjoys safely?


ittle Wind Street Pop-Up is a managed venue with stewards who’ll ensure everyone’s experience with us remains pleasant, and licenced safety personnel to promote a positive sociable environment. We don’t expect anyone to purposely cause the need for our staff to intervene, but for reassurance they’ll be there.




Can I book specific tables?


Unfortunately we can’t guarantee where you’ll be sat due to restrictions still in force by national government guidelines. Tables must remain in their position to comply with social distancing guidance advised by national government.




Can I bring my dog?


You can bring along any beloved pet, so long as they’re well behaved.
